Fatal error: Uncaught Error Divi Theme

Question

Help! My customers’ site is down and this is the error. I need immediate help. There is nothing I can do or the hosting company can do.

  1. Have you tried deleting Divi via FTP from wp-content/themes and reuploading Divi (extracted, not the ZIP itself)?

    It won’t destroy any of your content. It just gives your site fresh Divi files. Your content is mainly stored in the database and wp-content/uploads. Deleting the existing Divi folder in wp-content/themes and uploading a new Divi folder to wp-content/themes should work just fine. Try to do the following,

    1. Restore the website from backup or
    2. Delete the Divi theme and install it again

    See if Godaddy had a backup before you noticed the site going down and then log in and update Divi and WP. 

    GoDaddy is bad for killing sites. That’s your core problem. Change hosting. Try WPX Hosting
