All terrible. They all overcharge for crappy slow service. Bluehost and HostGator are owned by EIG which is notorious for poor service quality and huge marketing and upsell pushes.

Blue host and host Gator are the same company. Both are owned by endurance international and the support is the same group, so no real difference there. They are all fine though. What is it you’re trying to ask exactly? They all offer a wide range of hosting options from super small sites to huge sites so it really depends on your needs specifically.

Smaller hosting companies are becoming the more favored choice by developers everywhere, they provide great support and much faster servers than the big companies. I’m also a bit of a non-conformist and don’t tend to feed those who have a Monopoly on any market.

Had terrible experiences with BlueHost, HostGator, and GoDaddy. NameHero is better but I’d also check out WPX Hosting and WPEngine.

    Check NameHero Pricing

None of them. I was with HostGator in 2008 – my website had a post that went viral and it got 101,000 page views in 3 days and they canceled my account saying I had broken the terms of the hosting and wouldn’t allow me to download my site (eventually they have me an hour to get my files and go).

GoDaddy’s owner shoots elephants so I would never support them – Bob Parsons, the founder of the Scottsdale, Arizona-based web-hosting service, posted the graphic video on his Twitter account on March 14. The footage, shot March 8, shows him hunting an elephant on a farm and posing with a shotgun beside its corpse.

Blue host offers hosting for under $3 a month and the chances are your site is on the same machine like thousands of other sites. I doubt the speed of your site would be good.

Invest in a good host. Do your research. Ask some people who have sites you admire (fast response times) and see who they host with.

I host with Blacknight in Ireland. With the 11 years, never had an issue. These are only my opinions based on my experiences and thoughts on the hosts mentioned.
